NopCommerce is the most popular ASP.NET shopping cart in the world based on Microsoft technologies. Free and open-source eCommerce platform.

Accept payments in your NopCommerce webshop - with a Payrexx payment plugin which is free and easy to integrate.

Download the free Payrexx plugin at the NopCommerce page: NopCommerce page.

Remember the memory location.

2. Log into your NopCommerce shop

Log into your user account: NopCommerce

3. Upload plugin

In your NopCommerce account go to Configuration => Local plugins.

Choose the green button  “Upload plugin or theme”.

Upload the before downloaded plugin under “Upload plugin or theme”.

It can take a few seconds.

4. Activate plugin

Scroll down until you see "Payrexx". Choose "Edit".

Activate it through clicking the checkbox "is enabled". Save your settings.

5. Configure your settings

Press on "Configure".

Now you have to fill in two fields and in order to do this, you'll have to switch between two different pages. We recommend that you keep your Payrexx account in one tab and your NopCommerce in another tab open.

Instance-name: YourName

Put your instance name in the field instance name.

For the second field, you'll need your “API secret key”. In order to get it, you have to log into your Payrexx account: Login.

Choose “API & Webhook” in your Payrexx account.

There you'll find the API secret key. Copy the secret key and past it in your NopCommerce tab (under Rest API -> API Secret) and don't forget to save your settings.

6. Create a new webhook

Now you have to switch back to your Payrexx account and again to API & Webhook. Create a new webhook there by selecting the "Add webhook" button. Add a new webhook.

The field“Webhook URL” you have to fill out with your extended checkout-URL of your NopCommerce shop.

So you have to extend your own NopCommerce address with the element: /Plugins/Payrexx/Webhook

Now you have to change the “Webhook Content-Type”.
It should be JSON. Save your settings.

Step 7: Test your settings

You can test the configuration with the button "test now".
